Distribution Sales Analysis Software Tool

Salesmatrix is dedicated to the optimization of customer, product and service portfolios using evidence based data intelligence. Our focus is with clients who deploy a  business model around a wide variety of products or services  that is sold to a high volume of customers.

Salesmatrix empowers people to automate key sales intelligence requirements that normally would be either too difficult to obtain or would not have been thought of in the first place.

How often do we want to just focus on the fundamentals? The simple question of where we are making or losing money should be relatively easy. Yet we know that most businesses find it rather challenging.
Look how Salesmatrix answers the above question140 out of 562 CUSTOMERS and 93 out of 372 products constitute 77.95% of your business.

Think about how long it would take you to know the exact COMBINATION of customers and WHAT they buy in order to define where revenue is made. (Don’t worry we can look at the same combination in margin and volume).
Now let’s determine who these customers are and what they are buying. (As an alternative you can focus on the underperformers by simply clicking the ‘view inverse focus’ button)

What we are now looking at is ONLY the top performing customers and products/services. After pressing the traffic light button we instantly see significant opportunities in our top 15 customers (left hand column and top say 4 products in the right hand top rows). For example, why is the Stareye Rosehip Oil 15 (our 2nd best seller) performing so poorly within our top 9 customers.

At this point we have two easy options we can simply place this in an email or if we want to go to the next level we can place this data in our CRM system which forces action to be taken.

If this is the only activity you do with Salesmatrix we know it has already paid for itself!

To know more detail about the result displayed in each cell. Simply double-click the cell and you have all you need to know
The ‘Summary’ tab provides the margin and unit performance, the Periods tab shows when the NuGro Glucos was sold to The Vitamin Shop and lastly the Salesperson tab tells you who sold the product.

Obviously this is very useful if, for example, margins are not where they are supposed to be. Talking about margins, all we do is right click on the grid and we have easy access to a variety of powerful value options

This structure also enables a variety of other aspect options to view your data in.

Note - we still have not had the need to print one piece of paper!

What about some ‘AHA’s? Let’s go straight into assessments. In this area Salesmatrix provides a variety of powerful sales analytics. Consider the benefits of knowing:

*       How loyal customers are (which customers buy more frequently)

*       The cross sell results and patterns (which customers buy multiple products)

*       Customer retention (which customers are growing)

*       Product continuity (which products/services are trending in the right direction)

*       My favorite, the customer by margin % (see diagram)

To instantly represent your trends graphically has its great benefits. This is easily done providing a powerful way to identify where the attention is required.
